Computers

There's nothing better than finishing a new project. You beam at the cover art, you put the last flourishes in the text and you get ready to talk about it on your blog, on twitter, and everywhere else because such a feeling of accomplishment is great!

Then your computer flickers.

"No, come on baby. I promise I'll be gentle," you whisper, desperately sending yourself the manuscript in an email or trying to make the usb ports work.

The computer allows you to get a solid connection with your external hard drive. Success, right? You hurry to grab the precious files... and the fans give a final excruciating cry before the whole thing turns  off.

Taps plays through your head as you stare into the black abyss of the monitor, your manuscript trapped in the magnetic plates beneath the keyboard.

The sequel to Good as Gold was supposed to be published today, but I'll leave it to my wonderful readers to figure out why I can't do that. Thankfully, there is a fantastic repair shop in town that's already working on it. Assuming the poor thing doesn't die again before I can get the manuscript off it, the sequel should be up next week. As for me?

I'm going laptop shopping.

City of Sin

City of Sin is the second book in Alexander Pierce's tale. Gay billionaire werewolf erotica abounds, readers. It should be available this afternoon on all the normal outlets, except for iTunes which will have a bit of a delay.

More soon!

Spring is springing and... so am I? I don't think that works.

I sat here in the cool darkness, listening to the creak of the ceiling fan overhead. Frou Frou's remake of Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For A Hero" playing on my laptop's speakers a stark contrast to the roaring wind outside. I stared at the blinking cursor on this blog post, considering what to write.

It occurred to me then that this song actually fits what I'm currently writing very well. What am I currently writing? Well, you'll see soon but no spoilers yet.

The other thing I'm currently writing is a sequel for Home, with Alex, Michael and more of the Pierce family werewolf pack. If you haven't read Home, well, let's fix that shall we?

Alexander Pierce is the son his father always wanted, except for one tiny detail. His interest in women is non-existant. Lazy businessman by day, horndog werewolf by moonlit night, this first person erotica short is told by Alexander himself while he rails his secret boyfriend after a long day.

This is a coupon, good through March 8th 2013. I encourage you to pass it around too! It will only work on Home, so keep that in mind. Time to go write.

Book 16's on the house!

Free for the foreseeable future:

Fresh out of basic training, Airman Bradley Connor is just trying to keep his head down and his mouth shut. When a gorgeous, dominant officer makes that impossible, Bradley is faced with orders no normal airman would ever have.

At 3200 words it's short, but steamy.

"But Alvery," you say. "It's on Amazon and it's not free and-"

I know, love, I know. I'm sorry about that. We're going to have to price match this to be free for the time being, once it's live on Amazon. For now, get your fix from Kobo, iTunes and Smashwords, where it should be free as soon as it's live in every single one of those places. Barnes and Noble does not price match, but it is uploading through another avenue to Barnes and Noble to make it free there too.

If you do buy it, 100% of proceeds will be donated directly to Operation: Homefront. Enjoy, and look out for the bundle of all four military charity stories this week!

iTunes availability

I wanted to extend an apology to iTunes readers. There's been a problem in distribution that's still being worked out. However, hopefully all books will be available on iTunes sooner rather than later. I just can't tell you for certain when that will be because I wasn't given an estimate. Sorry again, iTunes readers!

More charity erotica!

Luke has a rough, long job that never really stops; even when he's home for the day or on vacation. The only time he gets to himself almost every day is his lunchbreak. So Ashley concocts a plan to give her overworked boyfriend a little midday surprise.

It's a quickie both in spirit and at 3200 words, but it's another book in the Operation: Homefront charity group, so 25% of all sales automatically go to help out families in need. Available shortly on iTunes, amazon, barnes and noble, kobo, smashwords and everywhere else sizzling hot erotica ebooks are sold.

Look for more very, very soon.
